The package includes 10 fun dives as you wouldn't want to miss out on all the amazing morning dives! Dive with up to 100 nurse sharks at night and get extremely close to the resident nurse sharks and stingrays of Alimatha House Reef. As you kneel on the sandy bottom, these harmless sharks will come and squeeze between your legs or you can just flop down beside them – a truly bucket list experience!
In case you haven’t completed your Emergency First Responder course yet, worry not, the package includes this course too.
You will be staying on an extremely small island with a fairly small population. But rest assured, all the essentials for a slow simple life are still available.
As your speedboat enters Fulidhoo Lagoon, string rays will most likely be the first to welcome you! Roused by the sound of engines, sting rays often swim up to the arriving vessels looking for a free meal—and what a way to start a holiday!
Fulidhoo Dive & Water Sports is PADI 5 Star dive center with a friendly team who love the sea as much as you do. If you want to get or even upgrade your dive certificate, then these guys can make that happen.
One of the best spots for diving and snorkeling populated with all the must-see fishes. And that’s not all. You can even add snorkelling at a shipwreck or visiting a deserted sandbank to your itinerary.
There are many different types of accommodation to pick from, from sea view rooms to quiet neighborhoods to family rooms—Fulidhoo has it all.
Heads Up!
Speedboat transfers from Male’ to Fulidhoo are usually scheduled only once per day, so you will need to keep a close eye on the speedboat schedule when you plan your vacation.
Wild-life sightings are not always predictable, and though they will try their best to make your experience worthwhile–it is ultimately beyond the control of the service provider.
Local islands are distinctly different from resorts, in that you share the island with locals. With the tourism boom in the island, you will find many guest houses under construction.
Local islands also do not have the same resources and capacity as resorts:, some issues such as waste management. Be forewarned that you may come across unsightly sites on your evening stroll around the island (this is beyond the guest house’s control).
Fulidhoo is a very small island, there is one or two small cafes on the island and only two tiny shops. Keep in mind that you should bring everything other than basic necessities with you.
Alcohol is not available since its a local island.
